Meet Kristin

Kristin Toms is a 42 year old resident of Sturgeon County. Residing here marks the achievement of a long-time goal to live in and experience the pristine beauty of the county for which she is grateful every day. She is the proud mother of two children, 13 year old son Mitchell and 11 year old daughter Maddix. Kristin and husband Craig married in 2002 while Craig was serving as an officer in the military and Kristin was the Communications Manager for a software company. They have operated a successful wealth management business, the Toms Wealth Management Group since 2007. Kristin’s focus has been on marketing, communications and business processes. A major contributing factor in the success of this business is the strong values, service-oriented focus and commitment to clear, open communication which will all translate well when serving the residents of Sturgeon County.

• Fostering open communication between residents and Sturgeon County.

• Building strong relationships with nearby municipalities to ensure decisions, such as road closures, that may impact residents from both locations are not punitive to eithers residents 

• Providing value to the taxpayer and working to achieve continued zero percent annual tax increases by growing the industrial tax revenue base

• Infrastructure – planning and budgeting for future infrastructure needs as well as properly maintaining our current roads and bridges

• Committed to educating and providing the resources to residents to reduce rural crime and protect our homes and property.

10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Two voting stations will be open on election day. Eligible voters may vote at either one of the following voting stations:

Cardiff Hall - 55320 Range Rd 251, Sturgeon County, Alberta
Pinnacle Ridge Estates Homeowners’ Association - 79 Pinnacle Way, Sturgeon County, Alberta

Both voting stations have free parking available and are accessible.

Advance Vote
Electors may vote in advance of election day, at the following dates and times:

Thursday, September 5, 2019: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 12, 2019: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 14, 2019: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

All advance voting will take place at:
Sturgeon County Centre - 9613 – 100 Street, Morinville, Alberta (Cardiff Room)
